Email has become a regular means of communication.  While the County urges you to contact officials with questions, Open Records Requests should be made via the telephone or in person.  We ask that citizens remember that email is normally monitored during regular office hours.  However, training and other scheduled events often take personnel away from immediate access to their email accounts.

Records, regardless of age, are microfilmed.  If allowed under law, once microfilmed, hard copies are destroyed.  If the records cannot be destroyed, they are sent for storage at the Hutchinson Salt Mine.
